A couple of years ago I was running with a friend and I was admiring the storefronts of the boutique stores we were running past. Problem? I didn’t see the decorative curb in front of one of them. I hit the curb at full speed and literally did a superman. Like horizontal to the ground. By sheer reflex and balance, I was miraculously able to pull a foot underneath me and get upright, saving myself from a disastrous face plant. Or worse. Right. Balance is not just for seniors, babe.
