Single Leg Squat with Spinal Rotation

How to complete a single-leg squat with spinal rotation:

  1. Place weight on foot and slightly lift left foot (also can keep toe down)

  2. Bring hands to chest with palms together.

  3. Sit back into a mini-squat, maintaining neutral spine.

  4. Rotate spine R, ensuring head and shoulders follow, then rotate spine L.

  5. Complete 5-10 reps.

  6. Switch legs and repeat on other leg.

  7. Ramp it up? Extend arms foward, parallel to floor. Ramp it down? Stand upright on one leg instead of squatting when rotating.
