Static Lunge with Lateral Spinal Flexion

How to complete a static lunge with a lateral spinal flexion:

  1. Step R foot forward, L foot back, in wide stance, with hips and toes pointing forward.

  2. Bend knees to static lunge, maintaining good posture.

  3. In lunge, laterally flex spine R, then return to neutral spine.

  4. 5-10 reps per side.

  5. Straighten legs and switch sides.

  6. Ramp it up? Hold DBs or Kettlebell in L hand when leaning R and vise versa.

  7. Ramp it down? Skip the lunge and hold a split stance only then lean
